Inna is a world famous Singer and Dancer from Romania. She is the first  European female singer who got a total of One Billion views on You Tube. She gained popularity with her very first music album "Hot". The song was reached number one in the United Kingdom. 

Elena Alexandra Apostoleanu was born on October 16, 1986 in the resort Neptun Romania, near Mangalia on the Black Sea. Her grandmother and mother were both occasional singers at local parties or night clubs. When she was a teenager, Inna listened to a large variety of musical genres. Although her favorite style was electro house, she also used to listen to Beyonce or ballads by Celine Dion or Whitney Houston with whom many find similarities. 

She went to "Mangalia Economical Lyceum" high school in Mangalia, since renamed "Colegiul Economic Mangalia" — Mangalia Economy College. After graduating from high school she studied Political Science at Ovidius University in Constanta.

Inna is a nickname that comes from her grandfather.

On November 12, 2008, Inna released her debut single "Hot", which was produced by Play & Win, a Romanian dance music trio and one of the leading music producers in Romania. The single performed strongly on the Romanian Top 100, peaking at number five in December 2008. It also became an airplay success in the Balkan countries, before reaching success across Europe and the Middle East.

Right from a young age, Sharma wished to make it big in the glamour world. She was once quoted as saying "I can't see myself doing anything else." With moral support from her parents, a confident Anushka enrolled in the Elite Modeling Agency.

Her first acting role was in Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) opposite Shahrukh Khan. The film was a huge success and her performance was appreciated. Film critic Taran Adarsh said, "Anushka looks the character and surprises you with a confident performance. It's no small achievement to share screen space with an actor of the caliber of SRK and Anushka manages it very well from start to end.

" Her second film, Badmaash Company, also under Yash Raj Films, was released on May 7, 2010. She was praised for breaking out of the shell of the conservative and homely Taani to play the feisty and independent Bulbul, and her performance was applauded.

Sharma appeared in Yash Chopra's swan song, the romance Jab Tak Hai Jaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Whilst the film was commercially successful and earned a mostly positive reception from critics, her portrayal of the ambitious Discovery Channel reporter Akira Rai, fetched her positive reviews from most critics, with Adarsh noting: "She's an integral part of this story and it must be said that she walks away with some of the best scenes and lines in the movie. Her performance is full of grit." Noted critic Rajeev Masand also praised Sharma's performance and said she "brings a spark to the film".

Film critic Raja Sen however, disagreed and said, "while Anushka can indeed play spunky, she needed here to tone it down several notches". This would be her second film with Shah Rukh Khan, opposite whom she made her Bollywood debut with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and her fifth collaboration with the production house, Yash Raj Films. Additionally, for her role, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Anushka Sharma is a model-turned-actress from Bangalore. She made her action debut with Aditya Chopra's "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" opposite Shahrukh Khan.

Anushka was born in Bangalore to Col. Ajay Kumar Sharma, a high ranked army officer and Ashima Sharma, a housewife. She did her schooling at the Army School and later graduated from Mount Carmel College with a degree in Arts. She has an elder brother named Karnesh, who was a state-level cricketer and is now in the Merchant Navy.

She studied in Army School and graduated with specialization in arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. She then moved to Mumbai to further her modeling career.

She never had any thoughts to become actress but later on started gaining fame from her very first film and fetched her Best Actress nomination at the Filmfare Awards ceremony for Band Baaja Baarat. She later won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Yash Chopra's romance "Jab Tak Hai Jaan".

Anushka got herself enrolled in Elite Modelling Agency, where she was groomed by renowned style consultant Prasad Bidapa, who met her when she was just 13. Designer Wendell Rodricks selected her for his Les Vamps Show, and the Lakme India Fashion Week in 2007.  She was also seen in ads for Silk & Shine, Whisper and Fiat Palio.
